WHY WE SERVE
Being a part of a serving team is one of the most normal things to do at Journey. There are a few parts to serving that are important to us. First, learning to serve is a big part of taking next steps toward Jesus. Put simply, when we serve, we're becoming more like Jesus. Jesus himself said that he didn't come to be served, but to serve the needs of others. And when you take a step toward serving others, you're taking a step toward Jesus. Second, joining a serving team is a great way to experience community at Journey. Our teams have a blast serving together, and when you join one of our teams you're joining a group of people who love and care about each other.
HOW TO JOIN A TEAM
Joining a serving team is incredibly easy. We want you to get connected to a team that matches your interests, gifts, and availability. There are two main ways that you can begin the process of joining a team. First, we have a place in our lobby called the Connection Table that is designed specifically to help people join a serving team. When you visit the Connection Table, there will be volunteers there who would love to help you find and join a serving team. Another way that you can begin the process of joining a serving team is by completing the form below. After you submit the form, one of our Connection Table volunteers will be in contact with you to help guide you through the serving team process. Our goal is to help you connect quickly to a serving team and take a next step toward Jesus!
Note: Some of our serving positions (specifically those that involve working with minors) require a background check prior to serving.
